Director Of Nursing

Job descriptions:

• Provide nursing leadership, oversee, direct and ensure smooth operations of Nursing Division.

• Work closely with the CEO and collaborate with the clinical teams for continuing improvement and compliance by delivering optimal quality clinical care services, professional development and education.

• Accountability for making decisions on critical operational issues and engagement of system-level thinking when situations arises, leading nursing initiatives and working in partnership with other department heads, doctors, internal and external business unit leaders.

• Coach and manage Nursing teams and help to achieve a higher level of effectiveness. In addition, the DON will be involved in manpower staffing needs in relation to service and acuity need of demand capacity.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with at least 12 years’ nursing management experience, of which, at least 4 years’ experience as Assistant Director or above
• Preferably a Post-graduate in Management or Nursing with Advanced Diploma in Midwifery, Paediatrics, Medical Surgical, Perioperative, NICU or related disciplines
• Good communication, interpersonal skills with excellent leadership and management skills
